حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ الْعَمِّيُّ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عِمْرَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ‏:‏ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم‏:‏ يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ، إِذَا طَبَخْتَ مَرَقَةً فَأَكْثِرْ مَاءَ الْمَرَقَةِ، وَتَعَاهَدْ جِيرَانَكَ، أَوِ اقْسِمْ فِي جِيرَانِكَ‏.‏

Abu Dharr reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Abu Dharr! If you cook some stew, make a lot of it and fulfil your duty to your neighbours (or divide it among your neighbours)."
